I know you guys are probably getting tired of my "Hey, lookie what I did!" posts, but I just wanted to let y'all know about the Ultimate version of Nightcrawler I made for The Sims.

Oh. It looks cool but I could never get into the Sims. I just hadn't commented before because I don't use WinAmp, but you've inspired me to try and figure the goddamn program out. Again.

Stupid thing refused to play the last song on the Interzone Mantras CD! I'm surprised it's still on the computer after a major screw-up like that.

Fasheem - I was only into The Sims for a brief time, but I still enjoy making skins for people... as well as just making them out of sheer boredom. smile

I really need a job.

But as far as Winamp goes, I use it on a daily basis. I've yet to have any problems with it, but I hope you can solve yours and walk away with minimal damage to your sanity and your computer. smile

lol, i downloaded Winamp just so i could use your skins! i used Real Jukebox before that (it's gone pay now! but the free versions that preceeded it are still available) I think i'll use WInamp just to listen to my music so i can use your great skins tho! but RJ does have more functionality... i can't see any way to record CD's with Winamp, if it could do that i'd straight up replace Real Jukebox tho, looks like a nice little program.

Problems:

1. Won't play the last song on my most favourite CD. (This isn't so bad, I can just use media player.)

2. Resets the all settings on the universal volume control whenever it goes to the next song. (Actually, this is fixed now. Thanks Hidden! But it shouldn't have done that at all. Ignore the whining in the brackets.)

3. A pile of songs show up as Unknown Artist... ex. Unknown Artist - Sting - Desert Rose... wtf? How do I rename them? So they go all nice and alphabetical-like.

Fasheem - I don't really know what t' tell ya. I never use WinAmp for anything other than MP3s. As far as renaming them to get them all alphabetical, you can do it by selecting the song, pressing Alt+3 (or right click and choose file info.) and alter the appropriate fields.

Is that what you're talking about? smile

You know what, I'm seriously considering buying the Sims so I can try these.
From what I've heard it's defenitely worth trying, and since SimCity is one of the few games I've ever found mildly amusing...

yeah I want to try the Sims too, and not jsut because of these skins, i really like Sim games, liked Sim City, Civilization and such. if you liked Sim City tho, some TRULY addictive games to try are Pharaoh, Caesar and Zeus. they are city building games, but as you may have guessed form the names, they take place in ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece respectively. Pharaoh and Zeus are the most recent and the best, they both have addons too which expand the game considerably, Pharaoh has Cleopatra, and Zeus has Posiedon (which adds Atlantis!)

gnahrf - Okay, okay! I'll keep pestering you guys on occassion with the "Lookie what I did!"s. I'm surprised that there were so many in a row... Normally I don't do that much skinning so many days in a row. Simply put: too much freetime. I don't have that hard of finals so I spend "studying" time doing more amusing things. He he he! I'm a bad girl! smile
